About
An ardent love of plants and flowers began in Jardine's childhood…
wandering through rambling gardens with her grandmother, mispronouncing botanical names. She revels in creating loose arrangements which retain the sense of spontaneity and romance found in the garden. Her work is layered and textured, using interesting botanical specimens and favouring locally grown flowers and foliages for their seasonal beauty and lighter footprint on the land.
Having studied Horticulture and spending all of her spare time tending her garden or marvelling at plants whilst bush walking Jardine’s deep love of nature comes through in her work. She prides herself on taking the time to get to know her clients and translating their personal style into carefully wrought and thoughtful floral compositions. A strong emphasis on sustainability sees her use only local florals for many reasons including their unique beauty, that working seasonally ensures that arrangements are thrilling and mark the time of the year, their carbon footprint is much lower than imported flowers which travel long distances to reach out shores.
